Workshop on Natural fibres – The Future Technology of Construction

Saraswati College of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Kharghar conducted two day workshop on Natural fibre – The Future Technology of Construction in association with Civil Engineering Student Association (CESA) and Youth Forum and Student Chapter for Water of Indian Water Works Association (IWWA). The idea of the event was to educate engineering students about application of natural fibres along with its merits in today’s world. We were privileged to have high profiled mentors and speakers who were associated with IWWA and were convinced to articulate their knowledge with our students.  High skilled dignitaries and speakers were Mr. Ulhas Paranjpe from Jalwardhani Pratishthan, Mr. S. N. Hande Assistant Engineer, MCGM, Mr. Nirav Saraiya RWH Expert: N. S. & Associates, Mr. Gaurav Sisode from MCGM. It was really ecstatic moment for SARASWATI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING to get around 275 participants in this inter college endeavour initiated by collaboration of CESA and IWWA. Moreover  a live demonstration  of using natural fibre in watertank with its construction was accomplished successful in the course of the event to make Students understand the practical adaptation and importance of natural fibres.
