Mr. Vinay Hanashi – In-charge of Secondary Section of Marathi Medium of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha’s Modern School and Jr. College, Vashi. Spoke with First Education News Team regarding issues of current generation and challenges faced by them. He has YouTube channel called Eternalmaths on which he shares his ideas about education.
He said “ In every generation, 2nd Std Student s are not same as 7th Std Students. It is observed that every next generation is more advanced . Teacher should not take it as a challenge by as opportunity.
Not only students but also new generation teachers are more advanced and comfortable while using new technology
He further says that, “Teachers should update themselves to match with current changes and techniques”
He further commented that the reason of students not being industry ready or employment ready is rate of development of education system, industry and skills is not proportional
The India is still following education system introduced by British to produce clerks. Knowledge creation is missing.
He also explained disproportionate growth of engineering colleges, engineers and number of jobs available for engineers.
He said career is that which you can acquire efficiently and firmly whereas education is to gain knowledge and change the mode of thinking. While choosing career students should keep in mind their ability, interest and the need of society to get successful in their employment or their business.
