NEW HORIZON TAKES A LEAD THROUGH INDIA’S G20 PRESIDENCY
“The greatest challenges the world faces today, can only be solved, by acting together. Our priorities will focus on healing our One Earth, creating harmony within our One Family and giving hope for our One Future.” To increase awareness among Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) students about the objectives of the G20 Summit, the country’s role in it and its leadership, New Horizon Public School, Panvel planned a series of activities from 26th September 2023 to 10th October 2023 for students of grade VIII to XII under the flagship and guidance of our Principal Ms. Amita Dutta to encapsulate India’s vision for global harmony.
Various activities including quiz, declamation, essay, cycle and walking rally, cultural showcase of ten countries and insta-reel were held to promote its initiatives across the nation in an effort to increase awareness of the said theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ literally translates to “The World in One Family.”
The activities culminated with a specially designed online quiz on G20 for students of grade VIII to XII, which witnessed huge enthusiastic participation. Students were also provided with an online participation certificate via email.
As students embarked on this exploration of G20 with their dexterous performances, it beckoned them to discover that if the world comes together as one cohesive family, sharing one unifying future on the only home we’ve ever known: Our Earth – will meet the vision of Global Solidarity
