JPIS Sweeps U-17 Basketball Titles at ISSO National Games 2025–26

  Jayshree Periwal International School (JPIS), Jaipur, achieved a double victory by winning both the boys’ and girls’ U-17 basketball championships at the *ISSO National Games 2025–26*. The school also hosted the five-day sporting event, which drew participation from more than 50 national and international schools.

  In the finals, JPIS girls’ team defeated The Shri Ram School, Gurugram, with a decisive score of 38–17, while the boys’ team overpowered Oberoi International School, Mumbai, with a scoreline of 57–18. Players credited their success to months of intensive training, teamwork, and strong institutional support. Coaches noted that the wins were the result of disciplined practice and emphasis on both fitness and strategy.

  The ISSO National Games provided a platform for students across the country to demonstrate athletic talent and sportsmanship. Alongside basketball, other sporting disciplines were also contested, creating opportunities for youth to connect and compete at a high level. The presence of parents, school officials, and sports administrators added to the festive atmosphere of the event.

  With these victories, JPIS has reinforced its reputation as a leading institution not only in academics but also in sports. Organizers expressed hope that such competitions will continue to nurture talent and encourage more schools to prioritize physical education.
