With the start of the year 2020, the whole world face unprecedented challenge of COVID-19 Pandamic. The Lockdown was announced throughout the county. All the industries including Education Sector had gone through tremendous impact of the Lockdown.
But many Education Instuitutes in India overcame this problem by starting online teaching and learning.
SSP. Mandals Chandmal Tarachand Bora College, Shirur, Dist- Pune is one of them. Under the leadership of Principal Dr K. C. Mohite, Bora College started Online Learning
The remaining Syllabus of Academic Year 2019-20 was taken up with online platforms like Jitsi Meet, Zoom, WebEx, Whatsapp etc. More than 50 Professors of the college created e-content in the form of PPT, Videos, Notes etc. and uploaded on the portal of Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune.
Bora College has highest contribution of content compared to other colleges on the University Portal.
To maintain academic performance and physical and mental health of the students, college has formed various committees to help and guide students duing the medical and other emergencies.
