Dr Asha Binukumar Spoke on “STEM EDUCATION”
Dr Asha Binukumar, Principal of Vivekanand English High School – Chembur, believes in working for society and all students who really want to do something for their lives.
Other than academics students should express themselves and explore their talent in a variety of other fields.
Vivekanand English School with a passion for bringing the best to the students developed tinkering labs in the school since 2018.
“Tremendous progress has been observed in students because of the implementation of STEM EDUCATION in school.” she expressed.
With a positive change towards the nation, she thinks that we all should give students a chance to explore their creativity and innovation. It is and it will be very useful and important for students for their bright future.
She believes “Our schools should be like a home away from home where students can learn, explore, innovate and show their creativity.
We should also educate parents about STEM EDUCATION – this can only be facilitated by involving parents in programs to participate and to understand the importance of STEM EDUCATION for their children”
