National Girls' High School & Jr. College, Bandra East, celebrated Maths Day on 21st December 2019 on account of the birthday of Shri Srinivasa Ramanujan, the great Indian Mathematical genius who made exemplary contributions to Mathematics, with an objective of creating awareness about the importance of Mathematics in daily life and also to create interest in studying it for the students. The celebration began with giving information about the importance of the day and why we Indians celebrate it throughout the country on 22nd December every year. Then the students with the help of their Maths teachers displayed their Mathematical projects for all the students and even for the parents, who saw the projects which were very informative, engaging and entertaining. They appreciated the hard work of all the teachers and their students. This made the Maths Day celebration a fruitful experience for everyone at National Girls'High School & Jr. College.
