Mrs Usha Raghawan HOD- IF of V.P.M.'s Polytechnic - Thane, spoke with First Education News on "STEM Education".
She expressed that "The current generation is more focused on automation, in this process "STEM Education" is playing a very key role in the development of the country."
V.P.M Polytech College focuses on Skill Development programmes - such as Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana been implemented, also courses like Instrumentation and Electronics, Arduino and automation, robotics-related courses implemented to get benefits to the students.
She believes that "Practice makes the man perfect"- Practically any skill can be developed. She prefers more to practice than just reading. Also encourages students to involve practically by interacting in project works, workshops.
