Pune: The Kruttika award 2018 instituted by Atlas Copco was given to Yojakta Pawar of Sinhgad Institutes recently. The award was presented by managing director of Atlas Copco Giovanni Valent at their campus in Hinjewadi, a statement issued by the Sinhgad Institutes. With intent to promote women engineers, Atlas Copco initiated the Kruttika Award. Under this programme an amount of Rs 50,000 was awarded to the woman topper of mechanical engineering branch on basis of third year engineering results. The goal  is to remove financial barriers for women students, who demonstrate the academic excellence and are pursuing studies in mechanical engineering fields. Source: Timesofindia
