R Ward Announces Dates for 53rd Annual Science Exhibition: Thakur Ramnarayan Public School to Host

DAHISAR: The Education Department of R-East Ward has officially announced the schedule for the 53rd State Level Bal Vaigyanik Science Exhibition for the academic year 2025-26. The prestigious event, aimed at fostering scientific temper among students, will be hosted by Thakur Ramnarayan Public School in Dahisar East.

The exhibition is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, December 2nd, to Thursday, December 4th, 2025, with visiting hours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.


Theme: STEM for a Self-Reliant India
The central theme for this year's exhibition is "STEM for Vikasit and Atmanirbhar Bharat" (STEM for Developed and Self-Reliant India). Students have been invited to present projects based on seven critical sub-themes:


Sustainable Agriculture 

Waste Management and Alternatives to Plastic 

Green Energy 

Emerging Technology 

Recreational Mathematical Modeling 

Health and Hygiene 

Water Conservation & Management 

Event Schedule and Key Dates
A detailed timeline has been released for participating schools:


Project Setup: Students must set up their projects on Monday, December 1st, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.


Inauguration: The opening ceremony will be held on December 2nd at 9:30 AM.


Evaluation: Judging of exhibits will take place on December 3rd from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.


Prize Distribution: The event will conclude with an awards ceremony on December 4th at 2:00 PM.

Competition Categories and Evaluation
Schools can submit a maximum of seven entries across various categories, including:


Student Projects: Upper Primary (Grades 6-8) and Secondary/Higher Secondary (Grades 9-12).


Teaching Aids: For primary (Grades 5-8) and secondary (Grades 9-12) teachers.


Lab Assistant Projects.


Clubs: Nature Club and Science Club.


Club Evaluation: Unlike the main exhibits, Science and Nature Clubs will be evaluated via school visits on November 28th and 29th, 2025. Schools must present their activities within 30 minutes.


Judging Criteria: The exhibits will be judged out of 100 marks, with significant weight given to creativity (20 marks), originality (15 marks), scientific thought (15 marks), and utility for society (15 marks).

Important Guidelines for Schools

Fees: A contribution of รขโ€šยน2,500 is required, payable via cash, cheque, or online transfer to the "R-East ward Science Exhibition and co-curricular Activity Committee".


Exhibit Rules: Exhibits must not exceed the dimensions of 122 cm x 76 cm x 274 cm. Projects must be displayed on a white tablecloth , and only two students are allowed per project to explain the exhibit.


Deadline: Entry forms must be submitted to the venue school by November 24th, 2025.

The event is being organized under the guidance of key officials, including Education Inspector Mr. Sanjay Javir and Principal Ms. Pinky Tripathi of the host school.
