K/P East Ward held a Science Exhibition on 4th December - 6th December 2019 at Guru Nanak Mission High School, Chakala . 75 schools from the ward participated in the exhibition . Lot of new and innovative ideas were brought forth by the students. Prof.M.K Maity, Associate Dean, Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai was the Chief Guest. He lighted the lamp and released balloons to inaugurate the 3 – days event. [SLGF id=4850] [SLGF id=4851] He went around and looked at some of the projects. He was very impressed by the children’s creativity, enthusiasm and ingenious ideas.[SLGF id=4849] Mr.Prem Sagar Mestri, environmentalist, was the Chief Guest on the last day of the exhibition. He distributed prizes to the winning projects. Some of the prizes won were

<ul><li>St.Mary High School, Jogeshwari, got the 1st Prize in sustainable Agriculture practices.</li><li>Madhavrao Bhagwat High School, Vile Parle (East) , won a 1st Prize in Health and Cleanliness.</li><li>Guru Nanak Mission High School won 2nd Prize in Resource management project at both Junior & Senior level. </li><li>Guru Nanak Mission High School also won the prize for the best host school .</li><li>The exhibition closed with lot of fervor and zeal among the school students and teachers and looking forward to the exhibition next year.
