Coding is a basic literacy in the digital age. It is important for kids to understand and be able to work with a the technology around them.

As a Language teaches children how to communicate, think logically, strengthen both verbal and written skill, children are exposed to different languages at the early age.

Having children learn Block based coding at a young age prepares them for the future. Block based Coding helps children with communication, creativity, math,writing, and confidence

the growing societal interest in Block based coding provides a great opportunity—not just for supporting future engineers and scientists, but for enabling all students, from all backgrounds, to develop the confidence and capacity to express themselves creatively with new technologies.

To develop habit of coding among-st children, Pi Code Club in association with First Education News is organizing Summer Camp on "scratch/Block based Programming".

In the simplest terms, the Scratch language is a free programming language developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA where you move blocks (also called bubbles) into a set order, then configure some of the blocks to create interactive stories, games, and animations.

In The Summer camp, Students will learn Scratch language to create interactive stories, games, and animations.

The Workshop will be held in 3 different stages Scratch Explore, Scratch Basics and Scratch Foundation for 2 days, 3 day and 5 days respectively.

Workshop will be organised at Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai from 1st May 2019. Students from 8 years to 15 years can register for the workshop by calling on one of the following numbers 9136 0188 03 / 04 / 05
