Content West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee confirmed that Institutes are not supposed to retain any original cetrificates such as Birth Certificate, School Leaving or passing certificates from Students. The Certificates can be demamded only for varification and should be returned. It further said that the admission fees should be refunded on cancellation of admission and no compulsion is to be made for purchase of institution prospectus. Students can purchase prospectus at their discretion.
