Dr. Suresh Nair, Principal of Vivek Vidyalaya Goregaon expressed his opinion on "Use of Technology in Education Sector" He spoke with First Education News Team about advantages and disadvantages of technology and how to implement technology in Teaching & Learning Process.

Vivek Vidyalaya was establised in the year 1962-63 by Vivek Education Society in Goregaon, Mumbai. It had a humble beginning with barely 15-20 pupils for 1st to 4th Standards. In the year 1977, the Junior College also was started. Now Vivek Vidyalaya is offering different courses from KG to PG. A team of more than 100 teachers are working with a sense of belongingness to the institution and in a spirit of discharging an ordained dharma in the form of imparting education. The present strength of the School is above 5000. The institution belongs to linguistic minority institution with Tamil and Malayalam as the regional languages.

Dr. Suresh Nair, joined the institute in 2006 and working as a Principal expressed his opinion on use of technology in education. Dr. Suresh Nair said, "As the time has been changed, the use of technology has become important in the Education. Even though there are certain disadvantages, technology is needed in Schools and many of the schools are adopting the latest technology."
