Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to set up a medical college and hospital in every district of the country, and plans to have 1.5 lakh
"wellness centers"
to serve rural areas. Where nutrition values still primitively revolves around bovine’s milk here we set the development of society in the hands of medical colleges and hospitals. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said apart from the existing health centers in rural areas, the government has planned to set up 1.5 lakh "wellness centres" under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Ayushman Bharat scheme which envisages medical insurance of Rs five lakh to 10 crore families, Modi said it would boost private sector investment in health care sector in rural areas. "It will be a win-win situation for health care sector as well as the patients, as the government will pay for treatment of people's ailments," Modi said. Hope we hear more great initiatives to facilitate smaller families too, else to fuel many such noble plans the ever increasing population will give rise to more taxes under yet another new name. Is there possibilities of such side effects here?
