Alice Fernandez Swamy and Shilpa Jejurkar spoke on STEM Education

Mrs. Alice Fernandez Swamy, working as the Principal and Mrs. Shilpa Jejurkar, working as Cheif Administrative Officer spoke with First Education News on “STEM Education”
Mrs. Shilpa Jejurkar said, “STEM Education or STEAM Education is the need of 21st Century. If the school wants to produce Global Citizens, They need to implement STEM Education and new concepts such as Artificial Intelligence, IOT programming with Scratch and Python, etc. “
Mrs. Alice Fernandez Swamy said ” It is also important to give training to teachers to adapt these new concepts. The trained teachers can create a better understanding amongst the student.”
“The Parents Orientation is also important regarding this new concept of STEM Education as the parents are one who will imbibe those skills into the children” added Shilpa Madam.
