Std X results are very crucial and important for both students as well as parents. It is the culmination of the hard work put in by the child throughout the year. Definitely, both students and parents have some expectations as far as their results are concerned.

If the students are not able to match up the expectations parents would play a very important role by supporting their children emotionally whatever may be the outcome. Parents should keep in mind, that it’s no point crying over the spilled milk now. They should avoid pointing fingers bat their children and never make them feel that they have failed the expectations of their parents. This will harm them to a very great extent. Don’t ever compare your child’s performance with that of others.

Make your child realize that the marks are just numbers, they do not decide their future and it is not the end of the world. Support your children, celebrate their achievements, Shower all your love and make them realize that you are there with them, whatever may be the result. Focus on the future course of action. Talk to your child and decide on the choice of the stream to be chosen. Parents should remember every child is unique & special, the results should not define their personality.
