MU Asks Students To Not Write Their Names On Answer Sheets

Students appearing for examinations conducted by the University of Mumbai have to follow certain rules mentioned by the authorities. Few months back, they had introduces some changes in the answer sheets, which also include a section to student names.

But as per the recent development, officials have decided that students can only write their seat numbers and should not write their names on the answer sheets as the feature to write the name has been withdrawn.

“The earlier decision to let students write their names on the answer sheet was taken to ensure that to trace the student copies easily during mistakes.” said an official from the examination department.
Over the last few years, authorities have introduces many changes in the assessment model, by introducing on-screen marking (OSM) system or assessment booklets with detailed covered with a sticker. However, these methods hasn’t been successful.
