Faculty Development Program on Advanced Teaching Techniques

Saraswati College of Engineering had organised for Faculty Development Program on Advanced Teaching Techniques, on 3rd July 2019 and 4th July 2019. Principal of the College, Dr. Manjusha Deshmukh was the programme director for this training program. She welcomed and felicitated the Mentor, Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Co-Founder, Employability Enunciator & Curator at The Jump Start.

More than 100 participants comprising of professors, associate professors, assistant professors participated in the program. The Program (FDP) was aimed at sharpening the teaching and research skills of the faculty member, inculcates better understanding on recent teaching methodologies and to build up the quality of course delivery through pedagogical enhancements, which would kindle the interest among students.

Packed with individual and group activities, the 2-day program had sessions on Online educational methodology, flipped-classrooms Techniques with associated pedagogy of active learning, Transactional Analysis, Time Management, Leadership skills, Reverse Mentoring, Decision-Making, Effective Communication, and Boosting Self-esteem and Acceptance.

The Training program saw enthusiastic participation and received amazing feedback. The program was well received by the faculty members and helped add value to each one of them.
