Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Live Updates : CBSE, CISCE, State Boards
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the CBSE Class 12 board exam dates, 12th time table, and CBSE exam format on June 1st. As soon as Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announces the dates, students will be able to check the CBSE 12th board exam dates at the official website cbse.nic.in. “According to sources, the CBSE has proposed conducting exams between July 15 and August 26 and the result to be declared in September,” reports news agency PTI. The decision to conduct CBSE 12th board exams was taken in a high-level virtual meeting chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, in the presence of Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal. States have also been asked to take a call on holding the Class 12 board exams as per the prevailing situations.
The major entrance exams for the undergraduate engineering course (JEE Main) and medicine (NEET UG 2021) will not be cancelled. The JEE Main 2021 exam date and NEET application form 2021 will be released on the official site of NTA.
While, ABVP has written to Ramesh Pokhriyal to consider novel modes of conducting Class 12 board exams, including open book mode and remote examinations using registered posts, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has opposed the Central Government’s decision to conduct the Class 12th board exams amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Although detailed suggestions from the states to the Union Ministry of Education have been sought by today, several states including Assam, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Haryana have already proposed holding the exams in June and July.
A decision on Maharashtra HSC exam 2021, MP Board Class 12 exam, RBSE class 12 exam, GSEB 12th board exam, UP Board Class 12 exam and ICSE Class 12 board exam is expected in a week or two.
