46 Schools got International Board Recognision

Maharashtra Government has formed Maharashtra International Education Board (MIEB) for Non-English Medium Schools. The Government decided Maharashtra International Education Board will prepare syllabus for Non-English Medium School to compete with other board (such as CBSE, ICSE etc.)

The MIEB is an autonomous body which decides the curriculum for its schools and conduct examinations.

The MIEB will be the second board in the state after the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

In the Phase 1, 46 Marathi Medium schools has got affiliation from MIEB out of which 5 schools are from Mumbai and will start offering new syllabus from the coming academic year.
