A CRM of a company is solely responsible for handling the interactions that the firm has with its clients/customers. Using data analysis about the clients’ past relations with the firm and tries to cut short the differences between the two, in the long run driving sales growth. Customer relationship management deals with integration and automation of sales, customer support and marketing. The practical aspect of Customer relation management is comprised of marketing automation, sales force automation and service automation. Customer Relationship Management is the branch of study which teaches those tools and skills which are required to create and enhance the relationships of a company with its individual clients.

To become a customer relationship manager, you must have excellent understanding of the customer requirements.

Eligibility:

The eligibility criteria for pursuing a master’s degree is that the candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% score.

Career Opportunities in CRM :

In India, career opportunities for CRM professionals exist mainly in banking, e-commerce sectors, internet services and Companies operating in utility sectors. Also chain operations appoint CRM professionals. The CRM personnel can work as Customer Relationship Manager, Manager-Client Servicing, Relationship Manager, CRM Specialist, Product Manager etc.

CRM Responsibilities

Build up and accomplish marketing campaign strategy and analyze impact

  • Correspond with stakeholders both internal and external to meet customer expectations
  • Negotiate contract renewal, draft reports, and provide progress analysis
  • Supervise and offer support on execution of service agreements
  • Develop relationship with external stakeholders to uphold business objectives
  • Match customer requirements with technical limitations
Salary :
  • An entry-level Customer Relations Manager (CRM) with less than 1 year experience can expect to earn an average total compensation (includes tips, bonus, and overtime pay) of Rs 2 Lakh to Rs2.5Lakh
  • An early career Customer Relations Manager (CRM) with 1-4 years of experience earns average pay of Rs 3Lakh
  • A mid-career Customer Relations Manager (CRM) with 5-9 years of experience earns average pay of Rs 4 Lakh
  • An experienced Customer Relations Manager (CRM) with 10-19 years of experience earns average pay of Rs 6 Lakh to 7 Lakh.
  • In their late career (20 years and higher), employees earn an average total compensation of Rs 900,000.
