AICTE Initiative to encourage Startups

If a professor who is teaching in college wants to start a startup company a special vacation will be allotted to him.
The leave can be taken as his leave or unpaid leave. At the end of this period, the professor will be able to work on his former position.
The matter is mentioned in the startup policy announced by the All India Technical Education Directorate (AICTE). It is believed that this will lead to innovation.

After successful implementation of Start up cells, AICTE has taken new initiatives.

Many Colleges have started “Innovation and Incubation Centers” for the students. To extend benefits of these centers for outside students and Professors these initiatives have been taken
