13:25 2019

As per the recent announcement by the Board, the minimum marks required to pass class 10 have been reduced to 33 per cent. In short, students are required to secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks in both theory and practical combined in order to pass Class 10 exams which means that students do not need to score 33 per cent marks separately in theory and practical.

The change in the criteria of passing marks by CBSE is only for Class 10, this change is not applied to Class 12 as such.

The Board has made the changes as per the criteria followed by other state boards across the nation.
