JVM’s Mehta Degree College Organised Inter-Collegiate Competition

Inter Collegiate Competition are always beneficial for students to refine their plans, expand their networks and learn more from other colleges

In Airoli, Navi Mumbai, JVM’s Mehta Degree College had organised Inter-Collegiate Event on 18th and 19th December 2018. The Program was collaboration of various art forms like Dance, Music, Mehendi, Acting, Ad Making, Photography as well as games  and other activities.

GOONJ

An Inter Collegiate Dance Competition GOONJ (Degree and Junior) was organised on 18th December 2018 in J.V.M’s Mehta College Auditorium. Several college including N.E.S. Ratnam College, Academia College, K.B.P. College, F.G. Naik College, S.I.E.S college had participated.

The Dance performances from various colleges mesmerised the audience with their performances. The attractive costumes, fluid dance movements, and fascinating props made it tough for the judges to decide the winner.

The judges for the day were Mr. Shashank Chitare (Member of HyponoticsOG India) and Mrs Sindhu Ramani. Academia College won 1st prize for Degree and S.I.E.S college won 1st prize for Junior.

Overall, the event was a major success. The gathering was concluded with the National anthem presented by the college choir.

Also there was a special performance by special children of Sanjeevandeep school, Airoli

PANORAMA

The annual – Intercollegiate  -fest of JVM’S Mehta College “PANORAMA” took of with a blast. The festival shone glittered with multifarious events addressing the artistry, the general awareness, the grey matter and the dexterity of participant students. The events namely were “Accountancy Knowledge Test”, “Best out of Waste” , “Musically” , “Mehendi Competition” , “Corporate Knowledge Test” , “Zatpat cooking” , “Nail Art” , “Treasure Hunt” , “PUB-G” and “Face Painting”. The events that really stole the show were “Accountancy Knowledge Test , PUB-G and Corporate Knowledge Test”. There was an overwhelming response with participation of 566 students and 32 colleges.

AARSH

Aarsh- The Media Fest 2018 of JVM’s Mehta College was conducted with much fervour on 19th Dec 2018. Popular events like Radio Jockey, Photography, Mono acting, Fashion show, Ad making, Short Film making, Street play etc were conducted which showcased  the exceptional innate talents of participants. Prominent judges from the respective fields judged and mentored the students. The Best College Trophy and the Best Contingent Trophy were won by SIES College, Nerul and Best PR Trophy was won by Oriental College, Sanpada.

SCI-TECH

Science association of J.V.M’S Mehta College, Airoli, Navi Mumbai organised "SCi-TECH" Inter Collegiate Fest on 19th December 2018.Around 200 students from various colleges participated as a part of this event and bagged several Trophies, Medals and Cash Prizes and made this event successful.

Like always, all the events was graced by management members Executive President- Shri M.S. Bhoomraddi, Vice President – Shri V. N. Hegde, General Secretary – Shri V.K Hunnur, Jt. General Secretary – K.H. Deshpande Treasurer- Shri G.N. Haragaball, Principal – Dr. Leena H Sarkar and Administrator- Mr. John D’Mello’.
