Mr. Vivek Yakunndi, Principal of Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering
Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering, is one of the well known colleges in Navi Mumbai. It is established by Lokmanya Tilak Janakalyan Shikshan Sanstha in 1994 with 3 courses and intake of 120.
Now college is running courses from UG, PG and Phd.
Mr. Vivek Yakunndi, holding a PhD Degree from Mumbai university, and working as a Principal of Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering since 2014 spoke with First education News Team about “Innovation in Education”
Mr. Vivek Yakunndi said that “ It is necessary to upgrade the learning teaching techniques now a days. There are Mandatory Guidelines also by the government.
It id said that if the nation fails something must have gone wrong with education system. Hence Innovation is essential in Education Industry.”
Lokmanya Tilak College is implementing project based learning to groom the students’ on technical front as well as project management and commercial aspects.
Also They are promoting online courses such as NPTL and Swayam etc.
