Dr. Lavendra Bothra , Principal of ARMIET College spoke with the First Education News Team on the topic of “ Gap between Education and Skills Required in Industry”

ARMIET College is run by Koti Vidya Charitable Trust. It was established in 2008

ARMIET Engineering College offers the Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering  and Diploma Engineering Programmes in 6 different Engineering disciplines and also offers the Masters of Management Studies program.

The College is located in Sapgaon Villaga of Taluka Shahapur in Thane District.

ARMIET College has been awarded the Global Education Excellence Award for being Best Private Engineering College in Thane District.

Dr. Lavendra Bothra Said, “ Education Structure should carry 4 things, learn to Know, Learn to be, Learn to do  and learn to leave together. But today’s education structure has only 1 corner that is learn to know. “

“Students must also acquire learn to do experience by Do It Yourself techniques. Students must have 21^st century Life Saving Skills“

He also said that, “Due to technological involvement, Industries are changing very fast but the Education sector is changing at very slow rate. Teachers must have Industrial Experience required to teach students “

To cope up with the technology changes in the world, ARMIET College has implement certain projects in their Campus.  Chalk & Duster System is removed. All the classes are having Interactive Boards. The courses like Industrial Training Course of ATI, 3D Printing Course, Solar Course, Robotics and IoT Courses are conducted at ARMIET.

ARMIET is also having Entrepreneurship Cell for encouraging Entrepreneurship and Research skills in students.

The Students from ARMIET has also started on Start up called as “Media Spa”
